PRUSSIA

Formed in Berlin in 1990 from the ashes of Iseloh, Prussia was an alternative rock band with a spirit and energy that saw them capture the hearts of many at numerous festivals across Germany and the UK , In 1995 they released the legendary album „Dying Mother of 16 Sickly Kids“
Between 1992 and 1997 numerous tracks were released as EPs, singles and on US sampler albums. In 2007 a further album: “Pain and Hallelujah” was released.

2025: A Podcast on `Carnival Is Over´ by Prussia. A band employing a classic line-up to produce a classic and well-honed rock sound. ‚Prussia‘ ceased its operation almost 20 years ago, and was once led by ‚Johannes Tibursky‘, check his current project out on www.tibursky.com What sat ‚Prussia‘ above their contemporaries however, is the quality of their songs and the production values used to capture them. The breadth and scope of the subject matter combined with assured and inventive arrangements is also mightily impressive. This was a band that at the peak of their powers was leading us down avenues of hope, despair, darkness and light to emerge renewed, refreshed and invigorated by the journey’s end.
